The President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kurt Okraku has indicated that the body will make sure they put the incoming FIFA money to good use.

In the midst of the Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic which has befallen the world, almost all aspects of life have been affected.

The football industry has not been spared with most of the football associations in the world going through some financial difficulties.

In a bid to mitigate those challenges, FIFA is sharing $500,000 to all of its member states.

While the Ghana FA awaits its shares, Kurt Okraku has assured that the money will be used well when it arrives.

“The FIFA Forward operational fund, which is $500,000 and the COVID-19 Emergency fund that is unknown, these are two different funds.

“The money has not yet come from FIFA but we believe it will hit our accounts soon to be put to good use”, the president of the GFA said in a conversation on GTV Sports Plus on Wednesday.
