Ghana captain Andre Dede Ayew is backing Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko to make impact in the upcoming Africa campaign.

The Porcupine Warriors will represent Ghana in the CAF Champions League next season after emerging as champions of the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League title.

Speaking to the media after the Calcio Trade Ball event, the Al Sadd forward congratulated the team for winning the league title, adding they will rally behind the club to do something great in Africa.

“Asante Kotoko won the league, congratulations to them”.

“We know how big of a team they are in Ghana. We will be behind and pray for them to do something great in Africa”.

The preliminary round of the CAF Champions League has been scheduled for August this year.
