We will win 2023 African Games Men's Football trophy - Black Satellites defender Kuffour Asamoah

Black Satellites defender, Kuffour Asamoah, is confident in their ability to clinch victory in the upcoming 2023 African Games football tournament.

Ghana's U-20 team is set to kick off their campaign against Congo at the Accra Sports Stadium this Friday, marking the beginning of their Group A fixtures.

Speaking to the press on Thursday, Asamoah expressed unwavering optimism about the Black Satellites' prospects in the tournament.

"Many eyes are on us, and we appreciate this opportunity," remarked the Berekum Chelsea player.

"We are committed to showcasing our best performance and aiming for the trophy. Our sights are firmly set on victory."

Ghana's previous outing in the 2019 African Games saw them fall short of progression beyond the group stage, finishing third in Group B behind Mali and Senegal.

However, Asamoah and his teammates are determined to turn the tide this time around and make a mark on the competition.
