West Brom boss Tony Pulis insists Kieran Gibbs has nothing to prove to Arsenal tonight.

Gibbs returns to Arsenal for the first time since ending a 12-year association with the club.

Asked if Gibbs had something to prove to his old club, Pulis replied: “No, he's done his job at Arsenal.

“He is proving to the West Brom supporters he is a good player and will be an asset here.

“The big thing is you leave clubs with great memories, hopefully.

“And he has done that. He has won stuff there and been involved in successful teams at a very successful club.

“That is great to look back on but he's looking forward, that is the most important thing in life.

“I will say to him it's about looking forward to what he can do here.

“I have been pleased the games he has played.

“He has done really well. I still think there is a lot more to come as well."
