West Brom Winger James McClean 'Delighted' With His Form and Club's Unbeaten Run

West Brom's Irish Winger James McClean has spoken of his delight at his recent form in the Premier League.

The Republic of Ireland international scored twice for his country against Moldova last week and has put in some impressive showings for the Baggies this season.

Tony Pulis' side were minutes away from beating Tottenham on Saturday but were denied by a late Dele Alli goal. But McClean is looking at the positives, telling theclub's official websitethat it was an important point.

We are four unbeaten now so it's all good signs," he said.

I'm delighted with the way I am playing at the moment and the team is also doing well so I am happy.Saturday was a tough game against a quality side and, if I am honest, we were outplayed by Spurs in the first half.

But in the second 45 we gave it a right good go and we were unfortunate not to hold on to the lead. It's massive to go into these three games now with an unbeaten record behind us as well as that point against Spurs."

McClean added that he is happy with the league position of his side, currently sitting in 12th place with ten points.

You want to try and get as many points on the board as possible. As the cliché goes, there's no easy games in this league and that is shown every week.We have a healthy league position, we are playing well and we are also showing that we are difficult to beat.

Let's keep that going.
