West Ham United have congratulated their star forward Andre Ayew following the players inclusion in head coach Avram Grant's squad for the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Egypt.

Ayew who is set to Captain Ghana in Alexandria on November 13 against the Pharaohs of Egypt has missed the Black stars last two competitive games against Rwanda and Uganda due to injury.

The 27 year old forward injured himself on his debut for West Ham in August and was expected to be out for four months but he has made a quick return and made two cameo appearances for the Hammers.

Ayew was congratulated by his club for making a return to the national team after Avram Grant names him in the team.

West Ham took to twitter to wish him well for the crucial World Cup qualifier.

Andre Ayew has scored 11 goals in 67 appearances for Ghana since making his debut in 2007 and is expected to lead the Black Stars against Egypt for a 'must win' game.
