West Ham Flop Simone Zaza Nears Premier League Exit With Spain Move on the Horizon

Italy international Simone Zaza has been backed to revive his career by terminating his expensive loan contract with West Ham.

The Hammers agreed to pay a £5million loan fee to bring the 25-year-old to the club and the Standard reports they had committed to spending £20m if Zaza made a sufficient number of appearances.

Parent club Juventus are likely to sendhim straight back out on loan to strugglingValencia who have made the striker a top target as they battle for survival inLa Liga. Their manager Cesare Prandelli is convinced that Zaza could make the difference.

The ownership knows everything that I think,� Prandelli told a press conference. I asked for four players to start a new project, we'll see if we can sign them in January.

Zaza? When I came here I spoke to Suso [Valencia director of football] about him. I know him very well and he could be important for us, but it's something the directors will take care of.�

Zaza has appeared in just one of the Hammers last seven games and has failed to even make the matchday squad in the last three, having sustained a knee injury.

West Ham fans will be hoping the return of Andy Carroll will help boost their striking options after a stuttering start to the season. A disappointing performance in their last home game against bottom of the league Hull City saw supporters sarcastically crown 'The Post' as their man of the match.
