Ghana international Inaki Williams has shared his excitement after inspiring Athletic Bilbao to Copa del Rey finals over Atletico Madrid.

The Black Stars forward scored a stupendous goal to open the scoring at San Mames after just 13 minutes into the game before assisting his brother, Nico Williams to double the lead for the host.

The hosts continued to press, and their efforts were rewarded on the hour mark when they scored a third goal, sealing the 4-0 aggregate victory.

However, the Ghana international has taken to social media to express his joy following his outfit triumph over Atletico Madrid.

“What a dream” he wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter. “IF YOU ARE GOING TO DREAM, EXAGGERATE, Life is too short not to try what we really want” he added.

Inaki Williams has been a driving force behind Athletic's success this season, contributing 11 goals and five assists in all competitions.

His exceptional form has helped the team reach their first Copa del Rey final since 2021 and he'll be eager to lead them to their 24th title when they take on Mallorca in Sevilla.
