On Tuesday, 4th August 2020, the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS) will sit on Wilfred Osei Kwaku Palmer's case against the Ghana Football Association (GFA) and give it's ruling.
The football administrator is at CAS to seek justice for his expulsion from the GFA Presidential elections last year when the country's football governing body was in the hands of a Normalization Committee led by Dr. Kofi Amoah as it's president.
Following several months of waiting, a finality to the case which is brooding tension in the country is near. This Friday CAS will hear the case and give it verdict.
With the odds massively looking in favour of Wilfred Osei Kwaku Palmer, one will wonder what his future will be if he wins.
Having been tipped as one of the favourites to win last year's GFA Presidential elections before he was disqualified, one can only think that he is still interested.
If he wins the case and CAS orders for a re-election with clearances to participate, there is no doubt he will bathe in powder in readiness to to take on the current FA president Kurt Okraku who he has in the past accused of not bringing any change to the country's football governing body.
Will Wilfred Osei Kwaku Palmer be the next GFA President should CAS rule in his favor? That is a million dollar question only delegates can answer at an elective Congress. Brace yourselves for Tuesday!! If it doesn't rain there will surely be sunshine!!!
