#2 His childhood.

Zinedine Zidane was born in Marseille, France into a family of 5 siblings, Zidane is the youngest. His family lives in the northern suburb of La Castellane. In it, his father was a storekeeper, his mother was a housewife. Unlike everyone in the neighborhood, Zidane's family is leading a comfortable life.

 Young Zidane was introduced to football when he was only 5 years old. With his neighbors, he plays soccer in Place Tartane Square, the main square near his home. Since then, he began to have a passion for the ball.

#3 Football career when he just started

The first football club he joined was La Castellane, at the time he was only 10 years old, he just stuck with this club for a year and a half and transferred to SO Septemes-les-Vallons. His time here only lasted 1.5 years. He was later selected for a training camp at CREPS, in Aix-en-Provence. His talent was discovered there. The club trainer has asked him to join AS Cannes Jean Varraud. Zidane's first debut for Cannes was  the Ligue 1 match against Nantes on May 18, 1989.

Two years later, in 1991, Zidane scored his first goal against the same opponent before, helping his team win 2-1. In 1992-93, Zidane played for Girondins de Bordeaux. In football, Zidane played with Bixente Lizarazu and Christophe Dugarry, who brought glory to Bordeaux and the French national team in 1998.

Then, in 1996, Zidane moved to the UEFA Champions League, Juventus for £3.2 million. Juventus not only scored a victory in Serie A 1996-97 but also took home the Intercontinental Cup. The 1997 UEFA Champions League final saw disappointing results when Juventus lost to Borussia Dortmund, and due to that, Zidane's skill was denied.

1998 was a successful year for footballers. He has scored a record of 7 goals in 32 matches. The club not only won the 1997-98 Serie, but also held the Scudetto title. Juventus reached the final of the UEFA Champions League for the third time but lost to Real Madrid. Zidane joined Real Madrid in 2001 for a record $150 billion world record. Although Zidane's last season with the club was not outstanding, Zidane still had some success on an individual level. He scored his first hat-trick against Sevilla FC in a 4–2 victory in January 2006 and was the second highest scorer for Real Madrid in the season. Zidane's last match for the club was on May 7, 2006 when he scored in a 3–3 draw with Villarreal.

#4 International football career

Zidane's first appearance at the FIFA World Cup was in 1998. Throughout the tournament, Zidane showed off his skills. He excels at every game. France moved up in the rankings, then defeated all their opponents to the semi-finals, they defeated Croatia with a score of 2–1 and took 1 ticket to the final. Of course, the final result was that France won the Brazilian players with a score of 3 - 0 and owned the championship trophy. And Zidane also becomes a hero of his people.

Two years later, France won the Euro 2000, becoming the first country to hold both the World Cup and the European Championship. Zidane, once again, was the hero of the tournament when he finished with two goals, one in the quarter-final against Spain and one in the semi-final against Portugal.

In the 2002 World Cup, he suffered a thigh injury so he could not join the team, France became more difficult to lose the first two matches. Zidane was brought back in the third match despite not being suitable due to his injury status.

Euro 2004 is said to be Zidane's last tournament when he plans to retire afterwards. France topped the table with victories over England and Switzerland, before losing to Greece 1-0 in the quarter-final.

Zidane won the FIFA World Player of the Year award in 1998, 2000 and 2003. Along with that, he won the FIFA World Cup final award of the tournament, FIFA 100 Greatest Living Footballers award and FIFA World Cup Golden Ball. He was even part of the team that won the FIFA World Cup All-Star team and the FIFA World Cup Dream Team.

Zidane won the Ballon d’Or, 1998 European Player of the Year award.
