The wife of AS Monaco wing-back Fabinho has dropped a hint on social media of a move to Manchester United.
O Jogo reports United are the outright favourites to sign the Brazil international.
And yesterday, Fabinho's wife Rebecca Tavares added intrigue to the deal by liking an Instagram post by a United fan begging him to join the club.
One supporter wrote: "Come to Manchester United, please."
Tavares then liked the post, before deleting all evidence of her action, prompting eagle-eyed United supporters to assume the versatile Brazilian is on his way, reports The Sun.
While Fabinho only recently signed a new deal at Ligue 1 champions Monaco, running until 2021, he did reveal his desire to play for United earlier in 2017.
He said: "My objective is to get to a club with the dimension of Manchester United.
"I have no clue if one day I'll be a United player, but I'll keep working so it stops being a rumour and becomes reality."
