The appointment of vibrant and highly-rated Nana Yaw Amponsah could be the start of a positive drive in restoring the club to glory days but will the supporters have the patience for the new CEO is the big question now.

Fans sometimes want the new CEO to immediately hit the ground running. They spell out lots of grievances the new boss should address.

There have been disagreements on how the club is been managed with fans displaying their displeasure on local radio stations. Fans always want to see their club do well, and will not hesitate to criticise the CEO if they see him doing the exact opposite of what he promised to do for the club.

Malik Jabir spoke about giving the new administration time to deliver, he was speaking on OTEC FM

“We should not be saying we want to catch the Europeans or Arabians, people should understand that we can but it is going to take time with the new administration,"

"The perseverance of the management, players and the supporters will lift the club and we will see how quickly the team (Kotoko) can catch the North Africans before we think of how to beat them again," he added.

Ashanti Regional Circles Chairman Obeng Sekyere also had some advice for the new boss he said

"I'm expecting Nana Yaw Amponsah to get closer and engage the supporters in his doings. We (Supporters) are hoping to have a good working relationship with him to help improve Kotoko," Obeng Sekyere told OTEC FM

"Looking at the past CEO's, you could always see a fully packed stadium whenever Kotoko had a game. The strategy was that they got closer to the supporters," he added.
