President and bankroller of Bechem United, Kingsley Owusu Achau has disclosed the team will make good recruitment going into the CAF Confederations Cup matches next season.

The Bechem based club were crowned champions of the MTN FA Cup after beating Okwuhu United by 2:1 at the newly built Cape Coast Stadium on Sunday.

Many questions have been raised whether Bechem United can play in Africa because Ghanaian club who often take part in the CAF Confederations matches normally complain about monitory issues but the bankroller says the club will make good recruitment to strengthen the team.

Speaking to Asempa Sports, Kingsley said, “I am very happy with the team’s performance and the people of Bechem are proud of the players.

“We struggled last season but I told the players to beat relegation and after season I took them to Dubai for holidays because they fulfilled their promise. This season, we played against Dwrafs and New Edubiase and after winning those matches, I told them I will surprise them and I did that so it is not about talking but just deliver and the players will make you happy.

“We have started our preparations towards Africa. We will have a meeting this morning and discuss how we are going to make it but I must say that we have settled on six players that we want to sign and by the close of today, we will sign two of them but we will make good recruitment going to Africa.

“We will form committees on how to improve our pitches because we will play our matches here in Bechem. We have three matches to end the season and I believe we can finish in the top four.”
