Black Satellites Coach, Mas-Ud Didi Dramani has stated that his side will upset Senegal when they meet in the first-leg of the 2017 Africa Youth Championship qualifier this weekend in Dakar.
The Satellites are expected to depart Accra on Thursday as they seek to qualify for the African Youth Championships in Zambia.
The former Kotoko coach Mas-Ud Dramani admitted that he knows very little about the Senegalese team. However, he insisted that he is focused on recording a favourable score line in the first leg.
“Preparations started right after our game against Ethiopia. We looked at our strength, our weaknesses, we also looked at looking to beef up the team and so confidence level is high and we are keeping our focus”.
“Though very little is known about our opponents, I believe what we have done will be able to see us through,” Dramani said in an interview on Starr FM.
The Black Satellites defeated Ethiopia 5-2 on aggregate to advance to the final qualifying round.
