Winful Cobbinah rules out a possible move to Kotoko

Hearts of Oak midfielder Winful Cobbinah says he is not interested in playing for any Ghana Premier League side if he decides to part ways with the Phobians.

Cobbinah was outstanding for Hearts as he helped the club finish 3rd in the just ended Ghana Premier League and it's been rumoured that he favours a move to Kotoko or Aduana Stars.

The 26-year old joined the Phobians on a two-year-deal as a free agent following the expiration of his contract with Saudi Arabian Al Najran.

“Prior to the end of last season, I heard so many stories about some clubs chasing my signature, but I knew that it wasn’t going to happen,” Cobbinah told FootballMadeInGhana.com

“It will be difficult to play for another local side even if I don’t get a foreign deal in the remaining one year left in my contract with Hearts of Oak.”

Cobbinah was instrumental for the Black Stars B when they clinched the 2017 WAFU Cup tournament title.
