Wing wizard Osman Bukari named in Slovak top-flight Team of the Year

Ghanaian international, Osman Bukari has been named in the Slovak top-flight team of the year for his outstanding performance for AS Trencin in the division throughout the campaign.

The 21-year-old winger has been a phenomenon for his team all season with his direct attacking play attracting applause and interest from pundits all over.

Having made 29 appearances for AS Trencin in all competitions, Osman Bukari has managed to score 11 goals to complement the 15 assists he has provided.

Not only has he been one of the best players for his club but he has also established himself as one of the best players in the Slovak top-flight.

At a ceremony at the Congress Hall in Bratislava with all players in the league in attendance, Bukari has been named amongst the best 11 players of the year for the Slovakia2019/2020 Fortuna League Season.

Out of the best 11 of the season, 7 players came from Slovan Bratislava who has been crowned champions of the campaign. There are 2 players from FC DAC 1904 Dunajska Streda as well as 1 player from Zilina.

“The most productive footballer of our league for the past season, Osman Bukari from AS Trencin, rightly belongs to the right-winger”, a statement from the league’s organizers said.

In addition to that recognition, the Ghanaian has been named the best young players in the league.

After a marvelous 2019/2020 season, it is understood that Osman Bukari has attracted interest from top European clubs.
