Winger Antwi-Adjei suffering from muscular problems

When VfL Bochum tests against the Dutch representative NEC Nijmegen on Thursday (kick-off: 2 p.m.), Christopher Antwi-Adjei will most likely not be part of the game.

This is due to the fact that the winger has to struggle with muscular complaints after the previous Bundesliga match. VfL head coach Thomas Reis let it know on Wednesday.

The same applies to Milos Pantovic. "The risk is too great that they will get bigger problems," said the trainer according to the Westdeutsche Allgemeine Zeitung. "Therefore, they will probably not take part in the friendly against Nijmegen."

Robert Tesche will definitely fail. The veteran also complains of muscular problems and tears down. What that means for the 8th matchday after the international break remains to be seen for the trio. VfL have to play against SpVgg Greuther Furth on October 16.
