English National League club Altrincham has signed Ghanaian winger Michael Gyasi on loan in the ongoing winter transfer window.
Gyasi has joined the Robins on a season-long loan from Chesterfield.
Gyasi, who typically plays on the left side but can also play as a striker, is known for his quick feet and eye for goal.
When asked to summarize his qualities after joining Chesterfield from King's Lynn Town for an unknown amount in June, he replied:
“I’m quick, good in one-on-one situations and I score goals.”
Though he has struggled to nail down a place in Chesterfield’s promotion-chasing line-up this season, he is in good shape to hit the ground running for Alty after recently ending a loan spell with Gloucester City, where he scored two goals in six appearances.
The 22-year-old will be wearing the number 31 shirt for the Robins!
Michael Gyasi will likely make his debut against Yeovil Town.
