The Real Valladolid centre back has been a subject of major interest from top European clubs after his breakthrough season in La Liga. It has been reported that Atletico Madrid and Manchester United are interested in the player.

Footballghana.com also reported earlier that Rennes have moved ahead of the pack to sign the player. The 20 year old currently has a release clause of 12 million euros.

Footballghana.com understands that no official offer has been made from Wolves but their management are seriously considering a move due to Salisu's modest fee and the increasing interest on him. His versatility has also been something of huge interest. He can equally play as a defensive midfielder.

Mohammed Salisu has made 27 appearances for Real Valladolid in La Liga this season, scoring a goal and assisting one.
