Former Accra Hearts of Oak captain Amankwa Mireku says he has more titles in his trophy cabinet than Black Stars skipper Asamoah Gyan.
His salvo is the latest in a war of words with the Al Ahli Dubai striker, Gyan. Its in retaliation to the Black Stars skipper retorting than Mireku was not at his level.
Gyan replied Mireku after the latter questioned his leadership qualities and asked that he vacate his post as Black Stars captain for Andre Ayew.
Gyan in response said he expects legends to criticise him and not the 2000 CAF Champions League winner who is not in his level.
"I've won a lot of trophies, you've won nothing but money," Mireku told Atinka FM.
Mireku won several domestic trophies with the Hearts of Oak including the CAF Champions League, Super Cup in 2000 and 2001 respectively and later captained Hearts of Oak to win the 2004 Confederation Cup.
Gyan is Ghana's all-time topscorer with 49 goals and African's leading scorer in the World Cup with 6 goals.
