Work with top-quality players – GFA boss charges national team coaches

President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kurt Okraku has charged all the newly appointed coaches for the various national teams to work with top-quality players during their stint.

According to the head of the country's football governing body, the old ways where coaches of the national teams received bribes and gifts from managers of players to hand call-up to their players should be abandoned.

He has, therefore, stressed the need for the newly appointed technical teams of the various national teams to only hand call-ups to deserving quality players that will help the teams.

"We are happy to say that all our national team coaches will receive something. I hope that this bold strategy by the council or the Football Association in conjunction with our government to ensure that everybody is happy will help us and ensure that only the top-quality talent gets national attention”, Kurt Okraku indicated.
