BBC pundit, Clinton Morrison has praised Thomas Partey for his role in Ghana’s third goal against South Korea at the 2022 Qatar World Cup.

After suffering a defeat against Portugal, the Black Stars recorded a hard-fought 3-2 win against the Asian country on Monday at the Education City Stadium.

Mohammed Kudus grabbed the winner after Inaki Williams missed his attempt.

Speaking on BBC after the game, Morrison was a matchday pundit for the game noted how Partey played his role in the goal.

The former Crystal Palace forward has noted that Arsenal star Partey’s pass from midfield is what eventually led to Ghana scoring their third goal of the match against South Korea in the second half on Monday.

“I told you there would be another goal. The build-up play from Ghana is brilliant and it starts with Thomas Partey with a brilliant bit of play in the middle of the pitch. It is a simple pass but he makes it look easy.”

In our view, Thomas Partey is one of the most important players for Ghana.

The Black Stars will come up against Uruguay in their final group game on Friday at the Al Janoub Stadium with kick-off at 15:00GMT.
