Danilo Pereira will miss Portugal's last group game against South Kora on 2nd December due to a rib injury.

The news of Pereira's injury was released by the Portuguese Football Association on the 27th of November.

The Portuguese Association claims that Danilo Pereira broke three of his right ribs after suffering an injury during the previous day's national team training.

In the opening match of Group H against Ghana, Pereira, who can also play as a defensive midfielder and a central defender, partnered with Reuben Dias as the primary central defender for the Portuguese national side.

At the Education City Stadium in Al Rayyan, Portugal—who defeated Ghana 3-2—will face the Korean national team, which is coached by Paulo Bento, after playing Uruguay in their second group game.

Portugal leads Group H with six points after two games, Ghana second with 3, South Korea with 1 and Uruguay with 1.
