Ghana coach Otto Addo is confident about his side's chances ahead of their second group game against South Korea on Monday at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

Ghana will have to beat South Korea to stand a chance of progressing to the next stage of the competition.

The Black Stars lost 3-2 to Portugal in the opening game while South Korea held Uruguay to a goalless draw in the other Group H game.

"Training is good so it is making it difficult for me to make decisions and this is really good and I am sure my players will show it,' coach Otto Addo said at the press conference in Doha on Sunday.

"I am happy to have a team which is willing to learn and work hard every day to get better.

"We have a lot of respect for South Korea, but we know we can compete with them."

Black Stars are bottom of Group H after Uruguay and South Korea played out a goalless draw.

The match is scheduled for the Education City stadium on Monday, November 28, 2022 at (13:00 GMT).

The 2022 FIFA World Cup takes place between November 20 and December 18, 2022.

Only three sides from the continent have ever progressed to the quarter-finals; Cameroon in 1990, Senegal in 2002, and Ghana in 2010.
