World Cup 2022: It was my dream to come to the World Cup - South Korea forward Lee Kang-in

In an interview with the Spanish media, Lee Kang-in, a midfielder who plays for the South Korean team, described the spirit of the national team.

In the interview, Lee Kang-in said, "It was my dream to come to the World Cup. I am trying to do my best every hour and every minute and I am trying to help the team."

Regarding the U-20 World Cup, where he won the MVP of the tournament, he recalled, “It was a tournament where I learned a lot.”

Regarding Korea's remaining World Cup matches, "It's not up to me to decide whether I play as a starter or as a substitute. I always prepare to give 100% on the pitch. The Korean team has a lot of really good players and a lot of players who play in the big leagues. So I just try and help the team win."

On the meaning of the existence of Son Heung-min to him, he said, "He is the best player in Korean history. He is amazing as a player and the best finisher in the world. I am learning a lot from watching him in training, performance, and off the pitch."

Regarding the atmosphere after the defeat against Ghana, he said, "I know that Portugal is a very difficult opponent. Portugal is a favorite country. In the last two games, we played very well. I think I can do it,"
