Published on: 22 November 2022

Tunisia put up a very good fight on Tuesday evening to hold Denmark to a goalless draw in the first Group D game of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Following the start of the 2022 edition of the mundial on Sunday, November 20, the global showpiece has gradually shaped up with a number of exciting contests.

Today, Group D opened with Tunisia taking on Denmark in a close contest.

Although both national teams were given a good chance to secure the points, Denmark had a slight advantage.

Despite the Europeans dominating play, they failed to find the back of the net with Tunisia’s defense proving to be a very tough nut to crack.

Throughout the game, Tunisia gave a very good account as players fought for the country.

Eventually, the game ended in a goalless draw as Tunisia and Denmark shared the spoils.

The result gives Tunisia a good chance of progressing to the knockout stage but the North Africans must fight to secure at least a win in the last two games of Group G to have any chance of qualifying out of the group.

Up next for Tunisia, the side will face off with Australia on Saturday, November 26.
