South Korea talisman Son Heung-min is expected to wear a face mask against Ghana in their second group game at the on-going 2022 World Cup on Monday.
The 30-year-old wore the mask in their opener against Uruguay as they were held to a goalless draw by the South American country on Thursday.
He suffered a fracture near his left eye during Tottenham's Champions League win over Marseille and underwent surgery.
Son's injury casted a serious doubt about his availability for the World Cup but he recovered in time to feature for his country in their first game.
"Sonny can play. Yes he will be able to play," he explained on Wednesday. "I think the fact that he would be wearing a mask is not an inconvenience for him. It is rather natural for him," Paulo Jorge Gomes Bento said.
The match is scheduled for the Education City stadium on Monday, November 28, 2022 at (13:00 GMT).
