Black Stars players were motivated by Michael Essien for their performance at the 2022 FIFA World Cup which is been held in Qatar.

The former Chelsea FC player expressed his excitement about the squad and their fighting effort at the Mundial.

The FC Nordsjaelland youth coach took to his official Twitter page to tweet: “So proud of you guys you did your best, we live to fight another day heads up boys”

Ghana was eliminated from the 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament after losing 2-0 to Uruguay in their last Group H encounter.

Both Ghana and Uruguay were eliminated from the tournament, with South Korea qualifying with Portugal.
