World Cup Winning Legend Andrea Pirlo Set to Be Offered Role as Juventus Ambassador

Former Juventus midfielder Andrea Pirlo is set to become a brand ambassador for the Turin club when he retires from playing the United States.

According to reports in Tuttosport, the Italian giants feel that Pirlo is a strong representative of the 'Juve brand'.

The reigning Italian champions are currently trying to rebrand the club and recently revealed the club's new controversial logo.

Pirlo left Juventus in 2015 and is currently playing for MLS side New York City FC. Yet with his contract set to expirein December, and with the former Italian international turning 38 in May, many believe he will soon hang up his boots.

Whilst at the Juventus Stadium the midfielder played 164 times and scored 19 goals.

With Juventus, Pirlo also wonfour Serie A titles, one Coppa Italiaand reached the Champions League final in 2015.

Pirlo famously played forItalian rivalsInter and AC Milan, (something he might notmentionwhen doing his ambassadorial role).

Juventus are currently top of Serie A following a run of six league wins in a row which has seenthem move seven points of second placed Roma.

If the Old Lady canhold on and claim another league title, it will be their sixth straight Serie A triumph.In fact Massimiliano Allegri's men could be for the treble this year.

Juventus face Portuguese side Porto onWednesday in the firstleg of their last 16 Champions League clash.The Bianconerialso face a tough task in the Coppa Italia when they face Napoli in the semi-finals.
