WSG Tirol signs defender Kofi Schulz

WSG Tirol strengthened the squad for the spring season of the Bundesliga before Christmas. WSG Tirol is tenth position secured the services of Kofi Schulz.

The 32-year-old left-back had been without a club since the beginning of July, until then he played for St. Polten. For the Lower Austrians, the German had played 41 games in the upper house before relegation and also had four goals and eight assists. In the 2nd division he was in eleven games, mostly from the start.

"He's a type of player who fits perfectly into our system," said WSG sports director Stefan Kock.

Schulz began his career in Rapide Wedding's youth team. In Sommer 1999 he moved to Hertha BSC's youth team. In June 2004 he signed for Milton Keynes Dons and stayed there for four seasons before signing for AFC Kempston Rovers.
