The head coach for Wydad AC, Walid Rekraki is confident his side can eliminate Hearts of Oak from the CAF Champions League.

The gaffer missed his team’s trip to Ghana last weekend and as a result, was not seen in the dugout when the Moroccan Champions suffered a 1-0 defeat to the Phobians.

Ahead of the second leg meeting of the tie in the playoffs of the CAF Champions League, coach Walid Rekraki is upbeat especially after seeing his side record a 1-0 win against Safi in midweek.

“We won and regained the first place, and our outcome is good with 5 victories and a draw. Now we have to forget this match and focus on the difficult confrontation with the hearts of pines,” the coach said after the victory against Safi.

The game between Wydad AC and Hearts of Oak will be played in Casablanca later this evening with kick-off set at 19:00GMT.
