Yiadom who plays for Red Star Belgrade could not feature in all matches but was in action on Wednesday night when they lost 1-0 to Olympiacos in their final match.

He ended the group stage with one goal and will now have no business in any of the two inter-club competitions in Europe.

Joseph Paintsil on the hand has bowed out of the competition with his KRC Genk side after finishing bottom of Group E.

Ghanaian midfielder Majeed Ashimeru enjoyed a good run in the Uefa Champions League with Red Bull Salzburg but they could not progress to the round of 16.

Fortunately for the Austria-based club, they finished third from their group and hence will play in the Europa League.
