Ghanaian defender Andy Yiadom has expressed that he is hoping to fight with his Reading teammates to ensure they win as many points in the English Championship as possible in their remaining games.

Following a difficult first round of the ongoing 2019/2020 English lower division league, Reading now sits 15th on the standings of the Championship.

Though promotion to the English Premier is impossible at this stage of the competition, Andy Yiadom says the team is willing to fight till the end and will push for maximum points in all of their remaining matches.

“I’m excited to get a run together and see how many points we can get between now and the end of the season.

“We want to kick on and try and win as many games as possible", Andy Yiadom said in a press conference ahead of Reading's match against Leeds United in the Champions on Saturday, February 22, 2020.
