Yusif Basigi resigns as head Coach of Hasaacas on health concerns

Published on: 12 October 2016

Coach Yusif Basigi has stepped down as the head coach of relegated Sekondi Hasaacas for health reason.

The Black Queens Coach has been in charge of the Western giants for almost five seasons.

His double role at Hasaacas and the national women’s team seems to have taken a toll on his health hence the decision to let go off the Club duty.

Hasaacas deputy Coach Joe Agyemang is expected to take charge of the side temporarily as they seek to fight for a return into the Premier League.

The 46-year-old Basigi is currently putting the Black Queens team in shape ahead of their Africa Women’s Championship to be held in Cameroon next month.
