Asante Kotoko have finally settled the US$ 12, 425 debt owed to former coach Kjetil Zachariassen, according to reports from Kumasi FM.

Zachariasen was axed by the club after only four months in charge after the team was eliminated from the CAF Champions League and the CAF Confederation Cup knockout rounds.

The Norwegian took the club to the status committee on the grounds of being unlawfully sacked and Kotoko was found guilty. The Kumasi-based outfit was ordered to pay US$ 12, 425 to Zachariasson as punishment.

According to Kumasi FM, the Porcupines have finally paid the money to the Norwegian gaffer to avoid any punishment.
