The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) Vice President Rix Mweemba says the resumption of women’s football will resume on July 25 after the FAZ/MTN Super League and National Division one league kickoff.
He told ZNBC Sports News that FAZ is committed towards the improvement and development of women football, hence the move to have their league restart a week after the resumption of the men’s league.
Mweemba also says FAZ is delighted with the compliance levels among Clubs as the countdown to the league approaches.
He says venue management and adherence to health standards are strictly being followed.
Mweemba has further tasked clubs to follow the new guidelines set for the restart of Zambian football.
