Zambrotta excited by David Addy capture

The Head Coach of Indian Super League side, Delhi Dynamos Football Club, Gianluca Zambrotta is delighted with the capture of Ghanaian left back, David Nii Addy for the upcoming season.

The 26-year-old former U-20 star signed for Delhi Dynamos after a two-year stint in the Belgian League with Waasland Beveren.

Zambrotta said; “David is a strong defender with great natural talent who will add power to our defense.

“He has spent time in Africa and Europe, and also holds great experience, having played in the Europa League.”

Addy started professional football with Ghanaian side Inter Allies before moving to Danish Superliga club, Randers FC in 2008.

In his time with Randers FC he made a total of 23 appearances which included 3 appearances for the club in the UEFA Europa League qualifiers.

He also won the FIFA U-20 World Cup as well as the Africa Youth Championship in 2009 with the Black Satellites and has made 21 appearances for the senior national team, the Black Stars.
