Zlatan Ibrahimovic is confident that Benfica's Victor Lindelof is ready for a move to Manchester United, after his impressive performances in Portugalreports Goal.

The 22-year-old centre-back is a highly sought-after talent and is being heavily linked with a January move away from Lisbon.

On whether or not the young Swede has what it takes to make it at United, Zlatan replied:Is he good enough for United? I think he's good enough for the big clubs out there."

With Mourinho's obviousdissatisfaction over the defenders in his war chest, the 22-year old could be a quality signing for United and may even be able to help them turn their season around.

Although still young and still developing, Lindelof's game has received a lot of praise and is tipped to go right to the very top of the game.

Ibrahimovic had this to say on his countryman:I think Victor is doing great things, he is playing good for Benfica, he gets a lot of responsibility for the national team now, he is growing.

United, however, aren't the only club said to be interested in him and the eventualtransfer of Lindelof might result in a good old bidding war. Ibrahimovic however could prove a decisive factor in luring the young defender to Manchester.

Having had such a great 2016, breaking into boththe Benfica and Sweden set up, Lindelof will surely be looking to ignore all the speculation his future and look tofocus and build on his performances in a Benfica shirt.
