A solitary strike by Tanko Mohammed handed title-chasing Aduana Stars all three points over neighbours Berekum Chelsea on Sunday in the Ghana Premier League.
The victory moved Aduana joint-top of the Ghana Premier League with WAFA, who have a game in hand.
Striker Tanko Mohammed netted the only goal of the match after 22 minutes at the Nana Agyeman Badu II Park in Dormaa.
Aduana are now tied on 29 points with WAFA who face Accra Hearts of Oak on Monday.
Aduana Stars will travel to Bechem United next week for their final match of the first round of the season.
