Ghana midfielder Shadrach Eghan will not return to FC Twente when his loan deal with Dutch side Northern Jutland Vendsyssel expires, the team has disclosed.

Eghan, 22, joined Vendsyssel on a two year loan deal from giants FC Twente in February but he will not return to the Dutch topflight according to Twente technical director Jan van Halst.

His departure is part of an annual culling at the club who are keen to sign permanently some young stars from their partners Manchester City.

The skillful midfielder whose amazing skills were hugely admired by all struggled to break through the FC Twente side hence necessitating the move.

Among the Twente players who have to look for a new team asides Eghan are Sonny Stevens, Chinedu Ede and Alessio Da Cruz.

"These terminations are an annual formality," explains technical director Jan van Halst on the club site.

"We have an opportunity to give some guys clarity directly about their future at FC Twente. So those who have will leave in time the opportunity to shop around."

He also disclosed that among the players they are looking to acquire permanently from Man City is youngster Yaw Yeboah.

"As stated earlier, we still talk to City about next season because the loan deals of Yaw Yeboah, Bersant Celina and Enes Ünal will expire at the end of the season."
