FIFA U-17 World Cup: Ghana to face Niger in Round of 16

The Black Starlets of Ghana will face Niger in the round of 16 at the FIFA under-17 world cup in India.

Ghana topped group A after beating Colombia and India and losing to the United States of America.

Meanwhile the Nigeriens qualified as one of the best placed third teams despite losing to Brazil and Spain but won their opener against Korea DDP.

The two teams will face each other in a repeat of the Africa Junior Championship in Gabon where Ghana triumphed 4-2 on penalties.

The game will be played on Wednesday in Mumbai at the DY Patil Stadium.

Ghana are two times Champions of the FIFA u-17 world and are poised for a third title.
