Former Accra Hearts of Oak and Kumasi Asante Kotoko player, Charles Taylor has told in-demand Winful Cobinna to join the Porcupine Warriors if they came with an offer.
Cobinna has been a huge subject of interest for the Kumasi based giants and on Saturday the Porcupine confirmed the speculation after posting on their official twitter handle, “they said he was a gem, and we have seen. Another Charles Taylor ?,” raising eyebrows within the domestic football fraternity.
Meanwhile, Charles Taylor who switched camp from Accra Hearts of Oak to Kotoko during his prime has offered some words of advice to the midfield kingpin to join the reds.
“When i joined Kotoko from Hearts of Oak i was financially okay. Someone has played for many years but he has not acquired a plot of land.
“Kotoko have helped me a lot so if Kotoko come with an offer he (Winful Cobinna) should take it,” Taylor told Asempa FM.
Winful Cobinna has lighted the Ghana Premier League with stupendous performances, translating it to the West Africa Football Union Championship.
The midfielder scored a screamer against Mali in Ghana’s second group game.
