Accra Hearts of Oak defender, Anthony Nimo, says their victory over Sporting Mirren in the MTN FA Cup round of 64 will serve as a morale booster going into the mid-week Ghana Premier League (GPL) clash against Bolga All Stars.

The highly rated defender scored his first goal for Hearts in their 2-1 victory over the second tier side as they ease through to the round of 32.

Anthony Nimo who had an impressive outing for the Phobians highlighted how tough their opponents were, but they were determined to emerge victors.

“The match against Sporting Mirren was a very difficult match for us, but I’m delighted my goal was able to propel us to the next round and it will serve as a morale booster going into Wednesday’s GPL clash against Bolga All Stars.

“For me personally am focused on giving out my best against Bolga All Stars and hopefully we shall get positive results from the match,” he said in an interview.
