Ghana Premier league giants Accra Hearts of Oak are keen on signing young forward Richard Zuma from lower tier side Emmanuel FC, according to the club's PRO Opare Addo.

The young forward excelled at the just ended GHALCA G8 tournament with the Phobians as a guest player but he is yet to sign a deal with the Accra based club.

The forward scored a brace in the final group game against Ebusua Dwarfs in the GHALCA G8 tournament, raising eyebrows on his potential.

However, Emmanuel FC, the club that owns the player are asking for a substantial amount of money for the forward.

Accra Hearts of Oak's spokesperson Opare Addo, has revealed the club is still chasing the signature of the young man but nothing has been officially confirmed yet.

“We are keen on securing his services, however we want to take our time and do things properly, ”  Opare Addo told Asempa FM.

“Nothing concrete has been agreed on so far and from the way things are going we have to take lessons from so many things in the past and make sure we don’t commit errors”.

“So it will be best for us to finish negotiating with him and make sure we have him on paper before we start using him”, he added.

Accra Hearts of Oak were beaten in the finals of the GHALCA G8 2-1 by Dreams FC on Sunday and have return to the capital to continue with preparations ahead of the upcoming Ghana Premier League season.
