Ghana midfielder Thomas Partey has credited Atletico manager Diego Simeone for his recent fine form in the Spanish La Liga.
Partey has hit top form as he has scored two crucial goals for the side in their last two games.
This season, he has scored five goals in 15 appearances, making him the club's joint top scorer with Angel Correa.
“Simeone allowing me time to develop was important and I had to wait for my chances,” Partey told KweseESPN.
“The manager spoke with me many times in the past to keep me involved and now I am playing more.
“He is great at motivating the players and makes it clear to us how he wants us to play and how we can continue to improve.”
