The Black Satellites, Ghana's U-20 national football team, are all set to bring glory to their nation in the 13th African Games Men's Football tournament.

Head coach Desmond Ofei has expressed his optimism about the team's preparation and their chances of securing the top spot.

The team is gearing up for their opening match against Congo, scheduled for Friday, March 8, 2024, at the Accra Sports Stadium. The much-anticipated encounter will kick off at 3 pm local time.

Coach Ofei, in a post-match press conference, stated, "For us it is about us we have prepared really well the boys like I mentioned before the boys are really hungry and ready to prove to Ghana that this national u-20 is ready to bring glory to the nation," he said."

The Black Satellites will also face The Gambia and Benin in subsequent Group A games. The team's primary objective is to secure a place in the semi-finals stage, a feat they are confident of achieving given their rigorous training and preparation.
