FC Samartex head coach Nurudeen Amadu expressed his strong belief in the potential of 15-year-old Godwin Sefah following his debut in the Ghana Premier League against Dreams FC on Saturday.
Sefah made a late appearance, coming on in the final eight minutes of the match held at Accra Sports Stadium. Despite the game ending in a goalless draw, Amadu saw promise in the young player's performance as Samartex kicked off their title defense.
In a post-match interview, Amadu commended Sefah, highlighting his youth and innate talent.
“He is a young chap and has a lot of potential in him. The last time I brought him, he did well, and I will continue to encourage him.
"What I saw today is an improvement over last week, and if he gains consistency, he will be good to go. I have a lot of hope in him.”
Godwin Sefah signed for FC Samartex this summer from Ghana's third-tier and is now playing in his first ever top flight season.
