20/21 Ghana Premier League: Anim Cudjoe’s solo strike seals 1-0 win for Legon Cities against Inter Allies

Teenage sensation, Matthew Anim Cudjoe found the back of the net on Sunday afternoon to seal a narrow 1-0 win for Legon Cities FC in their match against Inter Allies FC.

The two capital-based clubs today locked horns at the Accra Sports Stadium to fight for three points on matchday 11 of the 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League season.

Following a good start to the match in the first half, Legon Cities FC deservedly took the lead in the 12th minute when teenager Matthew Anim Cudjoe tapped in his effort from close range.

Although Inter Allies will respond well with an impressive display, the team could not find a way back and have been forced to succumb to a 1-0 defeat at the end of the 90 minutes.

Courtesy of today’s win, Legon Cities FC has climbed to 14th on the Ghana Premier League table with 12 points from 11 matches.
