20/21 Ghana Premier League: Hearts of Oak v Dreams FC matchday 5 preview

Published on: 13 December 2020

A struggling Hearts of Oak side will look to pick up their first win of the 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League season on Sunday evening when they lock horns with Dreams FC at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The Phobians have so far this season played three matches in the division, drawing two and losing one in the process.

The poor form has seen the team sitting 17th on the standings of the division and with just two points.

For the opponent on Matchday five, Dreams FC has been decent thus far but the team’s inconsistency has seen them lose vital points.

Out of the four matches, the Dawu-side has played, they have won one, drawn two, and also lost one.

A point accumulation of five sees Dreams FC sitting 5th on the Ghana Premier League season ahead of today’s encounter.

While the match promises fireworks, the fixture that will be played under floodlight has been set up nicely to climax games being played on the matchday.

Player to watch:

Joseph Esso – The Dreams FC forward is a former player of Hearts of Oak. As he prepares to face his former club, he is already in explosive form and will be hoping to score to add to his tally of two.

If he gets his day, the Phobians will be faced with a whole lot of trouble.

Predicted scoreline:

Hearts of Oak 2-1 Dreams FC.
