Liberty Professionals on Sunday afternoon posted a 2-0 win over Inter Allies FC to boost their chances of surviving relegation at the end of the 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League season.
The two teams since the start of the Ghanaian top-flight league campaign have struggled to compete with the other teams.
On the back of their below-par performances, both Inter Allies FC and Liberty Professionals are battling relegation as they hope to stay in the league at the end of the season.
Today at the Theatre of Dreams in Dawu, Inter Allies FC hosted Liberty Professionals in a matchday 31 encounter of the Ghana Premier League.
With all that is at stake both teams put up a good fight but it is the visitors that have come out tops.
On the matchday, goals from Brite Andoh and Appiah Asamoah Simon handed Liberty a 2-goal advantage at the end of the first half.
With no goals in the second half, the visitors have bagged an important three points that should help them push to stay in the Premier League.
